Online Leak Sealing
One of the most common causes of un-scheduled shut-downs in
continuously running plants are the leaks from pressurised systems
often causing safety hazards and environmental issues.
When no isolation can be made to carry out repairs, Stork
Cooperheat's leak sealing division is fully equipped to perform
online leak sealing on almost any item of plant regardless of
pressure, temperature or line contents. Pipeline leaks such as
tees, 45° and 90° bends, straight line faults, flange, weld neck,
pin holes, unions and valve body leaks can all be sealed using
custom made enclosures.
 The
injection of the sealant into a grooved sealing system
incorporated into all enclosures ensures that no sealant can be
injected through the failed area. For flange leaks the compound
forms a tough new peripheral seal around the existing leaking
joint.
