Cooperheat was established in 1958 to provide an on-site heat treatment service to industry. Then trading under the banner “Innovators in Thermal Technology” the product range continued to expand into other market sectors. At the same time our experienced team of people, whose expertise is always at your disposal, continues to maintain our high international and home reputation.

From the earliest days we have sustained an on-going commitment to research and development and our products and services are both technically and quality approved to the highest international and customer standards. Now a part of the Stork Group of Companies this policy has contributed greatly to an expanded portfolio which currently includes:

Development of the company within Australia has been as follows:

• 1977 Office opened in Australia
• 1978 Office opened in New Zealand.
• 1992 Office opened in Malaysia
• 1997 Cooperheat acquire NDT Services Pty Ltd and commence NDT operations in Sydney, NSW.
• 1999 Cooperheat Group acquired by Stork Group of
Companies (The Netherlands)
• 2002 Company name change to Stork Cooperheat to identify, and promote the synergies between two globally established organisations.
• 2006 Acquired the business conducted by LHT Australia Pty Ltd, (gas heat treatment and refractory dry out services).
• 2008 Acquired the business conducted by Nortel (1998) Ltd, (NDT. and inspection services New Zealand).

Our products and services are available on a world wide basis providing full back up and after sales service. Our subsidiary companies can provide a wider range of services including skilled personnel for on-site operations.

Stork Cooperheat Australia specializes in providing services for NDT and Heat Treatment for a wide range of industries, for major construction projects to small jobbing works.

Our “One stop shop” philosophy for supplying NDT and heat treatment services, provides our clients with efficiencies with our multi disciplined technicians who can conduct both NDT and heat treatment services to help reduce manning levels required for a project. Using one contractor to provide both services streamlines the administration and management of a project for the end user, when compared to using two separate NDT and Heat Treatment companies.
